Dry Dusting & Infection Control
The most hygienic way of cleaning.

The Chicopee® cleaning wipes in the Floor & Surface segment are especially designed to provide ultimate dust and dirt removal, wherever hygiene and cleanliness are essential.

What makes Chicopee® wipes so valuable for cleaning floors and surfaces?
Just think about all those bits of dust and dirt that need to be cleaned. Our wipes are designed to ensure the best possible dust pick-up from all your hard and smooth floors and surfaces. The wipes are impregnated with either a unique tackifier or impregnated with mineral oil to make sure that all dust is picked up from the floor and remains trapped in the wipes structure.
Because our wipes have superior dust & dirt pick-up, there are simply no more dust & dirt particles remaining on the floor or surface. The wipe collects the particles in its structure and wipe and dirt are easily disposed of.

Another Chicopee® cleaning obsession: infection control.
It’s probably not too surprising, but Chicopee® has extensive knowledge about Floor & Surface wipes; we understand the importance of cross contamination prevention and we take it as our mission to share our knowledge in cleaning. Build-up of dust and dirt on hard, smooth floors and surfaces is an inevitable part of day to day activity. Not just unsightly, dust and dirt are unhygienic, and may be the cause of allergies and other health & safety problems. The use of the dry dusting cleaning method has proven to help ensure health and hygiene in healthcare facilities as well as other areas where hygiene is of utmost importance.

Did you know that 80% of all dirt in buildings is dust? Dust is a breeding place for all known micro-organisms and therefore a serious threat to people’s health. So, good cleaning must be a priority. Not only at home, but also in public areas and at the workplace. Wet cleaning, using hot water, a cleaning agent and a wet mop, is still the most widely used cleaning method in the world. But the question is: Is it the best AND most hygienic method?
Bacteria and different sorts of micro-organisms need moist, nutrition and warm temperatures to grow – what better environment then traditional wet cleaning. Research shows that wet mopping of floors stimulates the multiplication of micro-organisms, including MRSA bacteria, because they feed predominantly on DUST. Research also shows that, countries where the DRY dusting method is practiced, a very LOW MRSA infestation rate is observed. And vice versa. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance to make sure that hospital floors and surfaces are cleaned properly and dust and micro-organisms are thoroughly removed. And there is considerable proof that dry dusting is the best way to do just THAT!
